Steve Sheldon

Biog

Steve likes to think of himself as a ‘real working musician’, keeping all his guitar work varied to make sure he has a full gigging diary alongside his role as a lecturer.

He has played in theatre productions such as Romeo and Juliet for the Royal Shakespeare Company and in orchestrations for the BBC. He has also played for the Drifters and performed at various functions around the world.

Steve has a real passion for music theory, especially jazz harmony. He loves how everything musical has a rule and how these rules can be broken with the know how. Steve urges students to study theory so they can play alongside the greats.
