ACM is a registered Office for Students provider*
ACM is proud to announce that it is now Office for Students (OfS) Registered. This means we meet OfS requirements for course quality, academic standards, student support, student protection and more. This government recognition of the quality and value of ACM’s higher education programmes is firm evidence of our continued and strengthening commitment to excellence in teaching and student experience.
The OfS is the regulator of higher education in England. Its focus is on the interests of students, particularly on enhancing student experience and outcomes, and delivering value for money for both students and for taxpayers.
Being registered means a higher education provider has demonstrated to the OfS that it:
- provides well-designed courses that deliver a high-quality academic experience for all students
- supports students from admission through to completion
- ensures students’ outcomes are valued by employers, or enable further study
- awards qualifications, through its validation arrangements, that hold their value over time, in line with recognised standards
- pays regard to guidance about how to comply with consumer protection law
- has a published student protection plan setting out the risks of course, campus or provider closure and how it will protect students’ interests in this event
- has the financial resources to provide and deliver the courses advertised
- has the management and governance arrangements necessary to provide and deliver the courses advertised.

Access and participation plan
As part of its registration with the OfS ACM has developed an access and participation plan that sets us clear benchmarks for our progress in supporting key groups. This plan sets out how we will improve equality of opportunity for underrepresented groups to access, succeed in and progress from higher education. Access and Participation Plans are renewed and formally approved by the Office for Students.

Transparency Information
As a Higher Education provider registered with the Office for Students (OfS) we are required to provide transparency data on specific areas regarding undergraduate applications, offers, acceptances and registrations as well as attainment information.
The information published on this page shows the number of students who attained a particular degree or other academic award, or a particular level of such an award, or a particular level of such an award, on completion of their course with us.
It also shows these numbers by reference to:
- The gender of the individuals to which they relate.
- Their ethnicity.
- Their socioeconomic background.
It is important to note that the data presented has not been contextualised. This means, for example, that you will not be able to see from this data how many of those applying to courses met the entry criteria. It is also the case that institutions usually received many more applications than they have spaces on courses and so offer rates will necessarily be lower than application rates. In addition, application data relates to the number of unique applications received, and not an individual person who might make multiple applications.
With regard to information that is split by the three characteristics of gender, ethnicity and socioeconomic background you will see that some figures may be highlighted. This is because the differences between groups of students with particular characteristics are notable.

Rounding and suppression
The data contained in the tables have been rounded and suppressed as follows:
- numerators and denominators have been rounded to the nearest 10. Where the numerator or denominator rounds to 20 or less, the data are suppressed with an “N”
- percentages are rounded according to the smallest, unsuppressed denominator in a given mode and characteristic. If the denominator rounds to:
- 50 or less: percentages are rounded to 5%
- 1000 or less: percentages are rounded to 1%
- more than 1000: percentages are rounded to 0.1%
- “N/A” is displayed where there is no provision in a given mode or level
- “DP” indicates suppression for data protection reasons. This is applied where the numerator is two or less, or differs from the denominator by no more than two students.
