Biog

Tim Walters began playing the guitar in 1989 and teaching in 2000, performing all over the World and teaching all levels from complete beginners up to multi-platinum selling artists. He has distinction passes at grade 8 with Trinity College London and Rockschool exam boards and holds both a Licentiate teaching diploma and Fellowship performance diploma with the London College of Music.

Tim is comfortable in most styles of music, on both electric and acoustic guitar and is well versed in sight reading and improvising. He has a wide experience of live performance and has shared a stage with some of the UK’s finest Rock, Pop and Jazz musicians. Tim has also organised and been musical director of many music courses, clinics and workshops. The diverse range of musicians he has worked with over the years include, Chris White, Richard Cottle, Gaz Coombes, Chris Whitten, Irwin Sparks, Adrian Smith, Lawrence Cottle, Nigel Hitchcock, Richard Jupp, Ralph Salmins, Alec Dankworth, Steve White and many more. Tim is an endorsing artist for Vigier guitars, Victory amplifiers and Dunlop strings. He is currently touring with The Dire Straits Experience.
